God’s Power When We Give Thanks to Him

Today I ask you a personal question, but meditate it deeply: How grateful are we with God? I repeat it again: How grateful are we with God?

In case you did not know it, being grateful to God is very important to Him. That is why we should live with thanksgiving, every day and every moment.

Says Psalm 92: 1-5 "It is good to praise you, O LORD, and to sing psalms to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your mercy in the morning, and your faithfulness every night. In the decacord and psaltery, in a soft tone with the harp, because you have rejoiced me, O LORD, with your works, in the works of your hands I rejoice: how great are your works, O Lord! "

As we can see, this Psalm is an expression of thanksgiving from the ancient Israelites when they were on their way to Mount Sinai. They understood that thanksgiving was paramount in those days. They demonstrated it by making sacrifices, singing hymns, using instruments, offering to God, and praying.

In that way, God wanted to remind them that He is God and that they should honor Him as such, that they should depend on Him, because He was the source of everything they had. In fact, in the desert, nothing was missing. Everything, absolutely everything was provided by Him.

Psalm 50: 23 "He who sacrifices praise will honor me, and to him who orders his way, I will show him the salvation of God."

A grateful heart honors God: "Thank you Jesus, thank you, good God, I praise you and thank you."

Our attitude should always be one of gratitude, and also, we should teach it to our children. Gratitude must be part of our mind and our life.

TODAY, HOW DO WE EXPRESS ACTIONS OF THANKS TO GOD?

  • We sing hymns,
  • We met,
  • There is companionship,
  • We come to the worship service,
  • But the truth is that every day we should be praising God.

WHY SHOULD WE BE GRATEFUL?

  • Because God chose us for Christ before the foundation of the world.
  • We are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and we have been sealed by Him.
  • We have eternal security
  • We have the gifts of the Spirit
  • We have a close relationship with God. We can talk to you personally, listen to us and respond to us.
  • We have your peace
  • We have his unconditional love. He loves us regardless of what he is, despite our disobedience.
  • He supplies all our needs, as he has promised and has fulfilled. Philippians 4:19 "Therefore my God will supply all that you lack according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
  • For his divine protection.
  • He has forgiven our past, present and future sins.
  • On the cross of Calvary our debt is settled once and for all.
  • We have the greatest treasure: we have the Word of God. Thank you Jesus, because in it lies the source of our knowledge and understanding.

A SINCERE THANKSGIVING EVERY DAY, HAS THE POWER TO IMPACT OUR LIVES.

When we give thanksgiving every day, we recognize that we are before a Holy God, Almighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, who loves us unconditionally and who only asks for recognition, gratitude and obedience.

If we do it from the heart, then gratitude has a wonderful power:

1. It keeps us constantly aware that we walk in the presence of God and respond with greater consecration, walking in his will.

2. It motivates us to seek the purposes of God in all that he allows in our lives. Sometimes we do not understand what God does or why he does it, but we have discovered that if I thank even without understanding because he has allowed it, he knows what will happen: He raises his finger, He lifts the burden and then we begin to see his purposes.

3. It helps us to submit our will to the will of God. It takes us to a point of submission, I do not understand it, but I thank you anyway.

4. It constantly reminds us who He is and his position as God in our lives. It reminds us of our divine dependence on God. We depend on Him absolutely for everything. It helps us to trust in Him. He impresses us with his joy. Dispels the charges like a mist. It illuminates us when we walk in dark places. It takes away anxiety, etc.

5. Keeps our attention on God, instead of the circumstances. It energizes us, strengthens us physically, spiritually and emotionally. Psalm 92:10, 12-15 "But you shall increase my strength like those of a buffalo, I shall be anointed with fresh oil, and the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree: it shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon, planted in the house of the LORD, in the courts of Our God will flourish, even in old age they will be fruitful, they will be vigorous and green, to announce that Jehovah my strength is right, and that in him there is no injustice. "

Therefore, if this is what causes us, we should be more than grateful and then we will see God act in a supernatural way.

Let's pray: "Almighty God, Sublime and Holy. I apologize for not being so grateful, but renew my commitment to follow your steps, to thank you for your unconditional love. We love you Lord and we praise you for the great privilege of knowing you, sharing you and walking in obedience every day. Thank you, Father, for your kindness and mercy. Faith that Conquers Goliats

All of us, at some point in our lives face difficult moments, which make us feel overwhelmed, as if things were out of control and we feel threatened by defeat, shame and despair.

When we face these battles, our greatest defense is to have a strong faith in the Almighty God, based on the Word of God. Because then, we can overcome every problem that arise in life and emerge victorious.

If there is someone who came out victorious, it was King David before Goliath demonstrating confidence and security, 1 Samuel 17: 45-47 "Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have provoked, the LORD will deliver you this day into my hand, and I will conquer you, and cut off your head, and give the bodies of the Philistines to the birds today. from heaven and to the beasts of the earth, and all the earth will know that there is a God in Israel, and all this congregation will know that Jehovah does not save with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will deliver you into our hands. "

Wow, what a most impressive statement, that shows a powerful faith, especially in those who have their confidence.

And what application today has the story of a shepherd of sheep and a giant.

What happens is that we all have our own goliaths in life and they come in all sizes and shapes. Goliaths can be a person, or a habit, of a relationship, or a situation that makes you feel overwhelmed.

It is not that you are not going to suffer afflictions or that you are not going to bleed, but in the end you will emerge victorious.

Winning our battles as David did, implies that we follow the following steps:

1. Remember the past victories. 1 Samuel 17: 32-36 "And David said to Saul, Do not let any man's heart faint because of him: your servant will go and fight against this Philistine." Saul said to David, "You can not go against that Philistine to fight with he, because you are a boy, and he a man of war from his youth. "David replied to Saul," Your servant was a shepherd of his father's sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took some lamb from the herd I went out after him, and he struck him, and delivered him out of his mouth, and if he rose up against me, I would take his jaw and strike him and kill him: he was a lion, he was a bear, your servant killed him; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has provoked the army of the living God."

When David met with King Saul, he did not focus on the opposition and immediately began to think that it was what he did to have a victory: I killed a bears and a lion. And if he could kill a bear and a lion. If God gave them into my hands, God will also give into my hands this uncircumcised Philistine who provokes the living God and desecrates the very name of God.

So, remember the victories that God has given you in the past.

2. I must ask myself: Why do I want the victory?. To boast ?, or because I'm tired of dealing with problems ?, or because we seek our own benefit ?, or because we want things to be easier ?, that everyone loves us, that everything goes well ?.

The truth is that God does not try to make everything easy, but rather, seeks to make us more like Jesus.

David did not tell the King, I will tell him what we are going to do: if he gives me his daughter in marriage, enough money and frees my family, then I will get rid of Goliath.

David did not negotiate with King Saul. In his conversation with him, he never mentioned the money, or the daughter of the king or the freedom of his family. But he mentioned what dominated his thought: let's get rid of this uncircumcised that is challenging the sovereignty of the God of Israel.

3. The faith that wins is a faith that rejects the discouraging words of others. David goes to the battle front sent by his father to see if his brothers were okay.

1 Samuel 17: 26-30 "And David spoke to those who stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that kills this Philistine, and will take away the reproach of Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he may provoke to the squads of the living God, and the people answered the same words, saying, "So shall it be done to the man who defeated him." When Eliab heard his elder brother speak to them, he burned with anger against David and said: what have you come down to? And who have you left those few sheep in the desert? I know your pride and the malice of your heart, that you have come to see the battle. "David replied," What have I done now? Just to talk? And turning away from him towards others, he asked in the same way, and the people gave him the same answer as before. "

According to this story, David goes to the front and meets his brother Eliab. Whoever rebuked him and if he had listened to him, would have returned home. What's more, if he listens to him, he would have missed the opportunity to take an important step.

In the end, he also refused to listen to King Saul's comments. 1 Samuel 17: 33 "And Saul said to David, Thou can not go against that Philistine, to fight with him: for thou art a youth, and he a man of war from his youth." So let's be very careful who we listen to.

That is why the time of meditation alone with God is so vital. David had the habit of listening to God, and refused to listen to foolish advice

4. A true faith is one that recognizes the true nature of the battle. The true nature is that God fought against other gods, there were Dagon and Belzebub and Jehovah the true God.

And this is the real reason why we read in him. 1 Samuel 17:47 "And all this congregation shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will deliver you into our hands."

David was saying in other words, that this battle is between his gods and our God. I am going to show you that God is God and that he will take care of these gods. There is no doubt that what the enemy wants is to try to stop the fulfillment of our purposes and dreams that God has placed in us.

But if we understand what is happening, the situation becomes clearer, and we will no longer worry about ridicule, or criticism. Therefore, our focus should be on God, trust in Him and then we will see victory in our lives.

That is why the most important time is that we spend alone with God. That's where the battles are won. Battles are won in our minds, hearts and spirit. Believing that God is capable, therefore, victory is a fact.

Let us pray: "Lord, thank you for your love for us and for the stories about your servants, who were men and women like us, who trusted you and you give the victory, I pray that the Holy Spirit will give us the victory and thus give glory and honor to God, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen. "

Porque es Importante Meditar en la Palabra de Dios

Propósito, Reino de Dios

Muchos cristianos leemos la Biblia y oramos, pero ¿meditamos en la Palabra de Dios? ¿Sabemos lo que eso significa? El Señor le dijo a Josué después de la muerte de Moisés: “Nunca se apartará de tu boca este libro de la ley, sino que de día y de noche meditarás en él, para que guardes y hagas conforme a todo lo que en él está escrito; porque entonces harás prosperar tu camino, y todo te saldrá bien” (Josue 1.8). Dios deseaba que el corazón de Josué estuviera lleno con la Palabra de Dios, para que así pudiera guiar correctamente al pueblo de Israel. Eso es exactamente lo que también desea para nosotros. Si meditamos en las Sagradas Escrituras, el Señor nos mostrará su verdad y nos guiará de acuerdo a su voluntad.

La meditación en la Palabra de Dios implica tres cosas:

1. Dejar de escuchar al mundo. Eso es no televisión, no llamadas por teléfono y no distracciones.

2. Pasar tiempo a solas con Dios. Hablar de meditar, nos referimos a estar en comunión con el Señor.

3. Enfocar nuestra atención en la Biblia. No nos referimos a solo leer la Palabra de Dios, sino a tener una conversación personal con nuestro Padre celestial. Lo primero que debemos hacer es pedirle que nos revele aquello que desea mostrarnos. Luego también debemos escuchar sus instrucciones y enseñanzas mientras oramos, leemos y pensamos en ese pasaje.

Cuales son los requisitos para una meditación efectiva:

1. Prioridad. El diablo tratará de estorbarnos para que no podamos enfocarnos en la Palabra de Dios, pues conoce el alimento que recibimos de ella. Si la meditación no es una prioridad en nuestra vida, muy probablemente no le estemos dedicando tiempo.

2. Lugar. Necesitamos tener un lugar privado, para tener un encuentro a solas con Dios.

3. Propósito. El propósito de la meditación es escuchar la voz de nuestro Padre celestial. Es al concentrarnos en su Palabra y buscar su dirección, que nos indica su voluntad por medio de algún pasaje de la Biblia. Una vez que hemos comprendido lo que nos ha dicho, nos preocupamos menos y confiamos más.

4. Plan. Debemos separar un tiempo especial para estar a solas con el Señor mientras leemos su Palabra y le pedimos que nos guíe. Esta oportunidad de estar con nuestro Padre celestial muy pronto se convertirá en la parte más preciosa de nuestro día, pues podemos conocerle mejor y escuchar su voz por medio de la Biblia. 

Podemos aprender a meditar en las Sagradas Escrituras y para ello usaremos como guia a Santiago 1.1-4 "Santiago, siervo de Dios y del Señor Jesucristo, a las doce tribus que están en la dispersión: Salud. Hermanos míos, tened por sumo gozo cuando os halléis en diversas pruebas, sabiendo que la prueba de vuestra fe produce paciencia. Mas tenga la paciencia su obra completa, para que seáis perfectos y cabales, sin que os falte cosa alguna."

1. Observación. Comience con las siguientes preguntas: ¿Quién es el escritor? ¿A quién le escribe? ¿Qué es lo que nos dice este pasaje?:

  •  Versículo 1 nos dice que esta carta fue escrita por Santiago, quien probablemente era el hermano de Jesucristo. En esta carta, Santiago escribe a las doce tribus de Israel que habían sido esparcidas por todo el mundo. Aunque estas personas vivieron hace mucho tiempo, la Biblia fue escrita para todas las generaciones, incluyendo la nuestra. Santiago nos da instrucciones específicas acerca de lo que Dios desea hacer por medio de las pruebas y cómo debemos responder ante ellas.

2. Interpretación. ¿Qué significado tiene este pasaje y qué podemos aprender por medio de él? Al meditar en este texto podemos llegar a cambiar la perspectiva con la que enfrentamos las pruebas. En vez de permitir que las dificultades nos venzan, podemos comprender lo que el Señor desea hacer en nosotros.

  • Versículo 2: “Hermanos míos, tened por sumo gozo cuando os halléis en diversas pruebas”. Es cierto que al enfrentar las pruebas y los sufrimientos, deseamos que todo acabe pronto, pero Santiago nos dice que la solución consiste en un cambio de actitud. En vez de permitir que la amargura y el resentimiento nos invadan, debemos sentirnos gozosos. No porque disfrutemos el sufrimiento, sino porque sabemos que Dios está en control y promete estar a nuestro lado en todo momento. Nuestro gozo está basado en el Señor y en su propósito, no en la situación que vivimos.
  • Versículo 3: “Sabiendo que la prueba de vuestra fe produce paciencia”. Podemos sentir gozo en medio de las pruebas, pues conocemos la verdad. Sabemos que todo lo que el Señor permite en nuestra vida es para la edificación de nuestra fe. El propósito de las pruebas no es nuestra destrucción, es nuestra aprobación. Es de esa manera que somos fortalecidos. Si no aprendemos a perseverar, tampoco podremos hacer frente a las tentaciones y nos alejaremos de la voluntad de Dios. Y sabemos que el Señor usa todo lo que viene a nuestra vida para nuestro provecho.
  • Versículo 4: “Mas tenga la paciencia su obra completa, para que seáis perfectos y cabales, sin que os falte cosa alguna”. Cuando nos negamos a esperar con paciencia en medio de las pruebas, impedimos que el propósito de Dios se cumpla en nuestra vida. Recordemos que su plan es perfecto, por tanto, desea que nosotros también los seamos. Esto no significa que dejaremos de ser pecadores, sino que seremos fortalecidos y edificados. El amor del Señor para con nosotros es tan grande, que no desea que carezcamos de estas cualidades. 

3. Aplicación. De acuerdo a lo que hemos aprendido, ¿cómo debemos responder? ¿De qué manera desea Dios que enfrentemos las pruebas? A continuación compartimos algunas prácticas específicas que nos ayudarán a regocijarnos inclusive en medio de las dificultades y sufrimientos:

  • Siga meditando en este pasaje hasta que venga a ser una realidad en su vida. Una vez que seamos capaces de creerlo, podremos confiadamente enfrentar toda dificultad.
  • Recuerde que Dios le ama incondicionalmente. El reconocer que Él siempre hace lo que es mejor para nosotros aumenta nuestra fe. • Pídale a Dios que le indique los aspectos de su vida en el que Él desea que usted crezca. Cada prueba ha sido diseñada para que crezcamos en un área específica de nuestra vida.
  • Reconozca que vale la pena sufrir con tal de recibir el resultado final. Todo lo que permite que llegue a nuestra vida es para nuestro bien.

La meditación en la Palabra de Dios nos ayuda a fortalecer nuestra comunión con el Señor y nos enseña más acerca de la Biblia. Además, Dios nos ha dado su Espíritu Santo, quien nos capacita para interpretar las Sagradas Escrituras de manera correcta y nos guía para aplicarlas a nuestra vida.

Tiempos de Prensado

Mateo 26:36-46 “Entonces llegó Jesús con ellos a un lugar que se llama Getsemani, y dijo a sus discípulos: Sentaos aquí, entre tanto que voy ahí y oro. Y tomando a Pedro y a los hijos de Zebedeo, comenzó a entristecerse y a angustiarse en gran manera. Entonces Jesús les dijo:mi alma está muy trizte, hasta la muerte, quedaos aquí y velad conmigo. Yendo un poco más adelante, se postró sobre su rostro, orando y diciendo: Padre mío, si es posible pase de mi esta copa, pero no sea como yo quiero, sino como tú.

El Getsemaní es un lugar santo, es personal y privado. Y este es un momento donde Jesús hizo una oración personal, donde de alguna manera nos permite ver su lucha como humano, y así abrazar lo que habría de ser su llamado en el Reino de Dios.

Esto es tan importante, especialmente hoy, porque los cristianos actuamos como que no tuviéramos luchas en nuestras vidas. Pero hay momentos en que aún cuando nos saludamos alegremente, se está desatando un caos internamente que te hacen pensar si Dios existe.

O bien, no sabes exactamente qué es lo está pasando en tu vida, o por cuánto tiempo durará y cuando se va a terminar.

Este es un momento crucial en la vida de Jesús, nuestro amado Señor. Estaba pasando por un momento de ser prensado. Parecido a un momento que pudiéramos estar pasando nosotros mismos, donde llegamos a un punto límite, al punto de quiebre, al punto de ruptura.

Es un momento decisivo, un momento en que estas sujeto a una presión emocional, que te preguntas, Y donde está Dios?, Porque está silencioso?, Que está queriendo decirme?, Que vamos a hacer?

Lo qué está sucediendo  es que Dios ha ordenado que venga a tí esa presión y sientas que no puedes salir de eso. Y piensas que como buen Bautipentecostal, se te ocurre aplicar la Sangre de Jesús. O reprender al diablo y le ordenas que se vaya de tu vida.

Pero tu no puedes reprender lo que Dios ha ordenado para que pases.

Este es el momento por el cual Jesús está atravesando, pero aún cuando estemos pasando por esos momentos, necesitamos venir a la Iglesia para fortalecer nuestros pasos, para mantenernos firmes, someternos a su voluntad al proceso de lucha como un buen soldado de Cristo.

Jesús estaba ahí, pasando por un momento difícil. Habia tal presión que era indescriptible, porque iba a cargar con mis pescados, los tuyos y los del mundo entero.

Ademas El no se merecía eso porque era inocente y todo lo iba a llevar sobre sus espaldas.

Jesús dijo: Mi alma está extramadamente triste. Se sentía tan solo, ni siquiera los doce discípulos estaban con El. A Pedro, Jacobo y Juan, les pide que lo acompañen.

Esa es la clase de Dios que tenemos, que aún cuando sabe que Pedro le va a negar tres veces, le pide que venga a orar con El. Sino fuera por la clase de Dios que tenemos, no iríamos a la Iglesia.

El siempre nos va a pedir que vengamos a El, sin importarle nuestras debilidades, o nuestra inconsistencia y nos permite ver su humanidad, que el batalla en oración.

El Getsemani un lugar de prensado, de presión imperiosa. 

Ahí, Jesús le preguntó al Padre: puedo hacer tu voluntad sin tener que pasar por la crucifixión?, es posible obtener la bendición sin llevar la carga?, puedo obtener la promesa sin tener problemas?, de alguna manera puedes pasar esta copa de mi?.

Talvez te encuentres en una situación parecida y no te lo merezcas, pero tienes que pasar por ello.

Alguno de ustedes están aquí batallando por algo que no pidieron, que no fueron llamado a ello, que tu no lo querías, pero hoy vengo a decirte: que tú eres el hombre o la mujer para el trabajo.

Yo voy a orar hasta que tenga un rompimiento. Yo no merezco esto, no es justo, pero aquí voy a confiar en Dios.

Mi testimonio está hecho de momentos de prensado, mi unción está hecha de momentos de prensado.

El Getsemani es un lugar para hacer que el aceite fluya.

La única manera que el aceite sale, es sí la semilla de la oliva se machaca o se aplasta.

Yo no lo obtuve porque leí un libro de alguien, sino porque el enemigo escuchó que le pediste a Dios que te ungiera y él desató el caos sobre tu vida.

Hay alguna manera de obtener el aceite sin ser prensado? NO. Porque hay algo que tú aprendes en la batalla que no lo puedes obtener de otra manera. Porque hay una Gloría que está a punto de ser desatada en tu vida.

Por eso, Dios me dió este mensaje, para explicarte porque ha sido tan duro. Pues al ser aplastado, el aceite que saldrá de tí, será una unción tal que te va a volar la cabeza.

 Porque para llevar esta unción, no puedes estar con otra gente. De hecho Jesús lo hizo y entendió que debería ir más allá de sus discípulos más íntimos.

Porque hay un lugar en el espíritu donde no puedes llevar a nadie, ya que Dios te quiere llevar, es a otra dimensión.

En otras palabras, les estaba diciendo a sus discípulos, quédense aquí, porque voy a un lugar donde seré lavado, donde voy a entrar a adorar, estar con mi Padre. Y eso es lo que debemos hacer nosotros también.

Decir: necesito ver a Jesús, necesito su compañía, voy a postrarme sobre mi cara delante de Dios y llamarlo por su nombre. Porque tú punto de prensado, es siempre tu lugar de transformación, es tu punto de cambio. Es tu punto de partida.

Es más, ese momento de prensado es un signo de que las cosas están a punto de cambiar.

No solo tienes fé que vas a tener algo, sino también para hacerle ver al diablo con firmeza: Yo sé, que estoy saliendo de esto, yo no sé como, yo no sé cuando, posiblemente llore, posiblemente me queje, pero yo sé, que Dios me va a sacar de esto.

Jesús se percató que todo lo que necesitaba estaba enfrente de Él.

Nada necesitaba de lo que dejó atrás. En el momento que te das cuenta que lo único que necesitas está delante tuyo. Tú le puedes decir a tu pasado: Adiós.

Dios me ha enviado a decirte que todo lo que necesitas está enfrente tuyo. Nada de lo que necesitas está detrás de tí. Nada, ninguna persona, ninguna oportunidad, ningún grupo.

Porque el lugar que Dios tiene preparado para llevarte es a la voluntad de su propósito.

Hoy quiero que sepas que Dios está dispuesto a traer un rompimiento en tu vida. Quiero que sepas que esto no es tu vida, más bien es un momento en tu vida. Este es un momento de prensado. Tú historia no termina aquí.

Este es el lugar donde la presión te empuja a una Gloría que nunca habías tenido antes.

Tu estás en el Jardín de Getsemani, no estás perdido. Tú no has sido olvidado.

El Señor me dijo que tú no estás maldecido. Alguien sentirá que esta maldecido, pero quiero que sepas que ese es un espíritu de mentira, que viene del infierno. Tú no eres un maldecido, tú eres un bendecido.

Y el Espíritu Santo te trajo aquí hoy, porque algo maravilloso está por acontecer  en tu vida. Después de esto vas a caminar en la Gloría de Dios. En sanidad, en restauración, y en liberación. Así que alístate, porque tus días postreros serán mayores que tus días primeros. Esta es la historia de tu vida: llena de la Gloría de Dios.

Oración para que la unción venga sobre tu vida y la gloria de Dios se manifieste: “Señor, me humilló delante de ti y te pido perdón por mis pecados. Límpiame y lávame con la pr cuida Sangre de tu Hijo Jesucristo. Hoy yo reprendo la depresión, yo reprendo el temor, yo reprendo la soledad, yo vengo contra todo eso ahora. Yo no moriré en este lugar, yo no me voy a dar por vencido, porque el poder del Espíritu Santo desciende sobre mi, ahora mismo. Levantó mis manos y te digo: ! TE NECESITO PADRE!. Pasa de mí esta copa, pero que no sea mi voluntad sino la tuya. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén
